Based on his play by the same name, writer David Lindsay-Abaire teamed up with director John Cameron Mitchell to create a heartbreaking and devastating account of a couple who’re run over by an unthinkable tragedy. Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart shone in the darkness, their performances touching and infuriatingly human at the same time. In the end, the Rabbit Hole team showed us that it’s not asserting one’s love about someone we lost that helps us heal. It’s letting everyone grieve in their own way that’ll shine the light on our emotional rabbit holes and show us the way out; and that, this path is the toughest to walk on and endure.
