Stone (2010)

August 24, 2018
Reading Time: 1 minute

Director John Curran and writer Angus MacLachlan set out to create a dark, noirish thriller. And it certainly works up to a point. And then mysteriously, they introduce the voice of God and Stone rapidly deteriorates into a pretentious, dense, and unfathomable mess. At this point even the mighty Robert De Niro and Edward Norton along with the superb Milla Jovovich cannot rescue the movie from its one-way journey into cinematic morass. What do you think?
